Terms
SoundSync Terms of Service.
These terms explain the practical rules for using SoundSync during controlled launch. They are written to be readable, but developers should review the current agreement in the dashboard before going live.
Launch legal note: SoundSync is in controlled launch. These public terms are intended to communicate current platform expectations clearly and may be updated as product, payment, communication, and legal workflows mature.
Platform use
SoundSync provides developer-first infrastructure for storefronts, checkout, product subscriptions, licensing, plugin activation, customer libraries, delivery/downloads, revenue reporting, analytics, marketing email, and developer APIs. Some features may change while production workflows are finalized.
Developer accounts
Developers are responsible for accurate account information, credential security, product configuration, team access, and activity under their account. Product/plugin secrets should be stored carefully and rotated if exposed.
Storefront and product responsibilities
Developers are responsible for product names, claims, artwork, pricing/subscription configuration, support links, refund policy visibility, upload rights, and lawful distribution of every file, image, serial, and product description they publish.
Customer data responsibilities
Developers may access customer data connected to their own products and storefronts. That access must be used for legitimate product, support, entitlement, account, and consent-based marketing workflows.
Licensing and delivery infrastructure
SoundSync provides infrastructure for serial validation, subscription-aware activation, protected downloads, customer libraries, and entitlement checks, but developers remain responsible for testing their own plugin/product integration before launch.
Payments, subscriptions, fees, and payout availability
SoundSync pricing includes the monthly minimum, direct platform fee, optional marketplace fee, product subscription checkout/renewal handling, marketing email usage, external redemption usage, and payout availability expectations described on the Pricing page or current dashboard billing surfaces. Refund and dispute behavior may affect timing and proceeds.
Refunds and disputes
SoundSync uses a 14-day standard refund window before developer payout availability. Later refund requests, disputes, and chargebacks may be handled according to developer policy, SoundSync platform rules, and checkout dispute processes.
Email marketing responsibilities
Marketing emails must be consent-based and sent only to eligible subscribed contacts. Developers may not use SoundSync for purchased, scraped, unrelated, suppressed, or non-consented lists. Transactional email remains separate from marketing campaigns.
Prohibited use
Fraud, malware, piracy, abusive automation, credential theft, delivery bypass attempts, spam, misleading listings, illegal products, and attempts to access another developer account or customer data are prohibited.
Suspension and termination
SoundSync may suspend accounts, products, storefronts, downloads, campaigns, or API access when needed for security, billing, abuse prevention, policy enforcement, dispute review, or platform stability.
Platform limitations
SoundSync is in controlled launch stage. Some workflows, API contracts, communication settings, reporting surfaces, and marketplace discovery features may vary by account while production behavior is finalized.
Disclaimers and liability
SoundSync is provided as a platform service and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, marketplace sales, compliance certification, or business outcomes. Developers should test critical workflows before launch.
