Implementation model

The managed-commerce path starts at product setup and continues through customer access and developer reporting.

  1. Create product

Define price, currency, files, license behavior, delivery, brand, and storefront visibility.

  2. Enable managed checkout

Publish the product through SoundSync storefront, marketplace, or approved checkout surfaces.

  3. Process checkout

Customer payment is collected through the SoundSync-managed path.

  4. Create ownership

Orders, order items, entitlements, customer library access, and license/serial visibility are created after payment confirmation.

  5. Handle post-sale events

Refunds, disputes, tax allocation, access changes, statements, and settlement reporting follow the transaction lifecycle.

External channels

External reseller reports, manual grants, imports, and developer-managed checkout can create access records without becoming SoundSync-managed MoR transactions.
