Prior-valid-state rule

Offline grace requires a previous successful activation or validation. A fresh install, unknown customer, deactivated device, confirmed invalid key, revoked entitlement, refunded access, or expired subscription should not unlock just because the customer is offline.

SoundSync

Grace inputs

Offline grace is a continuity mechanism, not a substitute for ownership.

Prior validation

A recent valid online decision is required before grace can apply.

Grace window

The configured window determines how long continuity can last.

Known-denied state

Confirmed invalid, revoked, refunded, expired, or deactivated states override grace.

Release QA

Test airplane-mode, cache deletion, clock changes, deactivation, refund, and subscription transitions for each product release.
