Follow the package runtime
JUCE 0.7.0 owns licensing for the processor lifetime and renews on a worker even when the editor is closed. Do not replace it with editor-only network calls or synchronous HTTP on the audio thread.
HISEScript and custom clients have their own lifecycle and cache rules. Validation must preserve the distinction between transient transport failure and a confirmed ownership, subscription, or revocation decision.
Handle results deliberately
Use the returned access state and safe error code. Back off on transient failures and honor rate-limit responses. Never turn a confirmed rejection into a fresh offline-valid state. Test closed-editor operation, device deactivation, denied access, and startup without a connection.
JUCE 0.7.0 requires online renewal at startup. Valid saved credentials are reused without repeated sign-in, but offline audio access is unavailable in this release. HISEScript offline grace is a different package policy.
